ABOUT

ED JENDRZEY

CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY

Ed Jendrzey is a criminal defense lawyer and TABC litigation attorney at Griffith & Hughes. He has proven himself in and outside of the courtroom as a fierce criminal defense attorney who proudly defends the rights of North Texans when they need a strong voice. Before joining Griffith & Hughes, Ed served as a criminal law magistrate in Dallas County, a municipal judge in Waxahachie, and was a prosecutor for both the Comal County Criminal District Attorney’s Office & the Lubbock County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.

Ed brings a wealth of criminal defense experience to Griffith & Hughes, and he has considerable experience litigating issues related to intoxication. His practice primarily focuses on criminal defense, defending businesses accused of committing TABC violations and defending liquor liability (Dram Shop) lawsuits.

Ed’s in-depth understanding of how criminal cases are investigated by law enforcement and prosecuted by the State, along with his familiarity with local courts allows him to excel in the courtroom and plea negotiations. He enjoys helping people who find themselves in difficult legal situations and strives to achieve the best result for each client.

Ed graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law where he was a member of the Texas Tech Law Review, and held leadership positions in the Student Bar Association & Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. He has served in leadership positions with the Lions Club, Youth baseball, and was a board member of his local Chamber of Commerce.

Ed also assists clients with getting their TABC licenses and private club formation.
